1) Detection and judgment of wire harness burn out fault
In the circuit of the power supply system, where the point of the iron, the wiring harness will burn to where, the junction of the burnt out and intact parts, can be considered as the wire of the iron; If the wiring harness burns out to the wiring part of an electrical equipment, it indicates that the electrical equipment is faulty.
2) Detection and judgment of short circuit, open circuit and bad contact faults between lines
- The insulation layer of the wires in the cable harness is damaged due to external extrusion or impact, resulting in short circuit between the wires.
When judging, you can disassemble the wiring harness connector at both ends of the electrical equipment and the control switch, and use the meter or test lamp to detect the short circuit of the line.
- Conductor disconnection fault. Except the obvious fault, the fault occurs between the conductor and the wire terminal. After some wires are disconnected, the outer insulation layer and the wire terminal are intact, but the inner core wire and the wire terminal are disconnected. When judging, you can do tension test on the conductive line and the wire terminal suspected of breaking. In the tension test process, such as the insulation layer of the wire gradually thinning, you can confirm that the wire has broken.
- The line is in poor contact, and most faults occur in the connector. When the fault occurs, the electrical equipment will not work properly. When judging, switch on the power supply of the electrical equipment and touch or pull the relevant connector of the electrical equipment. When touching a connector, the electrical equipment works normally or abnormally, indicating that the connector is faulty
