How does the car charger work

The functional principle of the car charger is as follows:

1. Communicate with the vehicle monitoring system through the CAN high-speed network, monitor the running state, running parameters, fault alarm and other functions of the charger in real time, and receive operation instructions such as start and stop of the charger. The charger must ensure that the single battery voltage, temperature and current do not exceed the allowable range when charging;

2. Obtain battery system parameters and real-time data before and during battery charging;

3, with high speed CAN network and BMS communication ability, CAN judge the connection status of the battery.

The working principle of car charging motor:

1. The power supply provides the PWM signal to the maximum charging current of the entire vehicle. The car controller takes the maximum current of the battery, vehicle charger and charger into account and sets it as the highest charging voltage to prevent any of these situations from happening.

2, vehicle charger through the output of the "charging requirement signal" line, the charging requirement signal will be transmitted to VCU, and through the low voltage power supply interface to provide power to the whole vehicle controller;

3. If the VCU determines that the battery pack is in a state that can be charged, it sends a request including the charging parameters to the charger (this information is part of the overall communication packet).
